微软去年4月发布了Messenger for Mac 7，可以支持企业Office Communications Server 2007和个人用户的Windows Live平台，支持了多人音视频聊天和联系人搜索、联系人注释等PC版早已提供的功能。利用Mac OS X的Bonjour本地网络搜索功能，可以直接搜索到局域网内用户进行交谈。
Messenger for Mac 7.0.2 is an integrated communications client that enables you to communicate with contacts within and outside your organization. Messenger for Mac 7.0.2 is a Universal application that is built to run on both PowerPC-based and Intel-based Macs and makes it easy to take advantage of the full power of real-time communications.

Messenger for Mac 7.0.2 improves overall quality and conversations with Microsoft Office Communicator 2007 R2.

Important Messenger for Mac 7.0.2 does not work with Live Communications Server 2005. If your organization uses Live Communications Server 2005, you should use Messenger for Mac Version 6.0.
